I just purchased Train Fever through Steam, but didn’t manage to start it even once yet. Each time after starting the game through Steam it takes a second until Windows tells me “TrainFever.exe has stopped working” – the game doesn’t even start at all.

I’ve been looking through the other support threads, but couldn’t find anything for solving this problem. I checked my drivers, they are the latest Nvidia ones, I checked the system requirements, they all fit, and I’m not using a laptop, nor a machine with two GPUs, hence I’m using the right one as well.

Looking forward to an answer, hopefully with a solution for this problem!

If not, turn it off, install the game, start the game and then you can turn it on again. Hopefully this will work for you.

Some how Train Fever can’t open your sound device. What sound-card do you have?

If you find anything relating to that, please inform us, we’re working on our side to find the problem.

I haven’t had my speakers plugged in. By simply plugging them in and assigning them properly in Realtek HD Audio Manager the game started without a problem!
