But forcing people to sign up in order to edit articles removes the whole purpose of having a wiki page

The reason I made a Wikia page was because i dislike wikispaces.com and wanted people to have a second choice to it.

An example is that the Train Fever Wikispace only allow registered users to edit articles, Train Fever Wikia doesn’t. This may lead to content becoming out of date, as only people who is registered can edit articles, compared to Train Fever Wikia, where people can edit out-of-date information on the fly basically.

Also i want to provide more technical, in-dept information in the Train Fever Wikia articles, and i run 2 other Wikia pages, so I’m rather familiar with Wikia wiki pages.
