Has anyone purchased the HARD copy of the games, and been unable to get the game to recognised that steam is already loaded. Got a warning that no language was configured when starting the install application.

Mac version won't start

Hello team, firstly danke schön for an already addictive game. Played on my PC loads already.

My mac however, won’t run. Mac OSX 10.7.5, which allegedly runs according to your specs.

Steam installs it fine, but when you run it, after 3 seconds where I’m shown in game in my friends list, I am returned to the library screen. Nothing visually changes. Occasionally I get a small window saying it’s loading, but 90% I don’t.

From my steam console log, I get this:

15/09/2014 12:31:24.264 [0x0-0x49049].com.valvesoftware.steam: /Users/Administrator/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Train Fever/run.sh: line 2: 2621 Segmentation fault: 11 DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH ./TrainFever

This is the only log I can find that indicates some sort of error. It’s referring to the small shell script created there.

Any thoughts? I can’t find anyone else with this issue.

This Game creates very big saves / atosaves, and the location is the steam folder in your windows / program files folder. Also when installed on your second HDD in your steam games-folder, the savegames will be stored on your SSD. After 5h playing this game, my 128 GB SSD has been wasted with up to 1 GB Train Fever Savegames.

Developers, please fix this. Many Player will not recognize this, and wonder how there SSD-space is gone.

So, we know that modding will be available in Train Fever, but will it support Steam Workshop? With poll and so on, like, you know, hats in Team Fortress 2

Train Fever and Steam

Maybe it’s a bit too early for this, but seeing as there is already a discussion page about Train Fever on the Steam website (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/discussions/116179866), I was wondering wether or not this game will be available on Steam?

I sure hope it will be available there and with the new early access area for alpha’s and beta’s I am also hoping Train Fever will be available there. Though I wouldn’t mind it not being on the early access area, I think for the sales it will greatly help. I don’t know how the legal stuff is in regards with the investor crowdfunding and Steam, but I sure hope it will be on Steam.
