Hey everyone jm764 here!
I managed to get a hold of two of the mod community made vehicles that have been submitted to UG for the upcoming DLC from the creators. See video details for more info.
All models are copyrighted by their creators.

All models are copyrighted by their creators.

The main problem is that it is more a “fan” video than USA DLC preview video. The author posted these videos on Steam too. I think he’s only trying to get some audience. By the way the video is way too long to present 2 models. (My point of view)

February 13, 2015 at 16:34 #16931RAAndreParticipantWell, I do appreciate the effort. The trains look great and Big Boy is one fantastic engine.
However, I have used the Big Boy DLC in both Locomotion and TrainFever. In Locomotion, I have used back-to-back stations and ran enormous fully loaded coal and ore trains. They look great. Very realistic and impressive.
In TrainFever, Big Boy looks great too, but unfortunately never hauls any more than a few cars because the industry production is so measly. In TrainFever, Big Boy looks rather silly hauling 5 open hoppers (with probably one or two empty).
The industrial production really needs a boost. It becomes flat (sometimes even downgrades) and the game just drags. I want to see my industries grow and produce. There is a point where nothing happens and things just get boring here.

Yeah I know it’s a bit long for just two vehicles but I just wanted everyone to have some thing to see and play around with from the official Dlc to promote it to those who haven’t seen or don’t really care for the Dlc to give it a chance. Wish I had more but those where the only two share with me at the time and I though the Dlc would have been out by now (guess not ^_^;). Also the second video is for alot more for non Dlc American vehicles that I found to be nice to have if there aren’t any equivalents in the other 25 unlisted vehicles the devs have.
No problem, and it sure does look great. I hope the creator DukeaufDune will make more vehicles like it in the future.
I agree that it does look abit odd hauling small trains since it was built to haul 125+ cars up mountains, that and since I actually had the liberty of seeing the real one up close (in a museum) it just makes everything seem even smaller to me! XD
And yes industry does need a bigger boost as the map I have in the video has all it’s cities served completely by only 3 industries and their production is maxed.
