I have the savegames if anybody cares.

I built a line between laramie and rawlings, but it refused to let me proceed. Despite having a train running to and fro and bus line complete that would feed my passenger line.  It refused to let me continue until I built a throw away passenger line a few buildings  closer to the city center.  Again, I had a complete bus line setup this would have worked fine in freeplay.  Once I got past that I did a line through the five green circles all 5 turned grey. It still wouldn’t let me build to ogden.   I deleted all the track and ran it through the CENTER of all those stupid green waypoints, and it still wouldn’t recognize that that step was done.  At this point I had lost and ran out of money, I ran my single train all the way from cheyenne to evanston to prove it worked and there was no break in the line.

As I said I have the savegames, this definitely seems bugged.

The train is not in the depot, and will not return to the depot, but I can’t bulldoze the depot because the train is in the way
The stations are definitely passenger station
There are no breaks in the track, I tried bulldozing a piece of track and the train status switches to no path until I rebuild the track, which would suggest the track is joined between the stations.
I tried to place signals as a test, no joy
I tried restarting the scenario and rebuilding the line, same issue.

Frustrating!!

Ich hatte dieses Problem schon mal auf Englisch beschrieben – aber da der Screenshot nichts zu erkennen gab und ich ihn verkleinern/verbessern wollte – dies aber nicht beim ersten oder zweiten mal gelang den Post zu ändern so dass es mir gefiel wurde es vermutlich automatisch als Spam gemeldet. Eine Forumsoftware mit Vorschaufunktion würde dieses beheben.

Eine neue englische Version zu verfassen ist mir jetzt einfach zu viel Umstand, nicht das es wieder als Spam markiert wird.

Zu meinem ursprünglichen Problem:

Ich spielte das Nordic DLC und hatte eine Tramstrecke auf automatischen Fahrzeugaustausch umgestellt. Von der Pferdewagen-Tram aus Stockholm auf die Doppeldecker-E-Tram (Namen hab ich vergessen). Diese befand sich gerade in einem Trambahnhof (den mittleren) wo noch keine Oberleitungen vorhanden waren.

Diese wurde dort ausgetauscht, aber damit ergab sich ein Dilemma: Sie hatte keinen Strom (hatte ich im Hauptmenü ausgestellt). Ich konnte sie nicht verkaufen oder ins Depot schicken, auch gab es keine Möglichkeit den Trambahnhof abzureissen (Fahrzeug im Weg).

Es wäre Schade wenn dieser Bug es in Transport Fever schaffen würde, oder gibt es evtl. einen Workaround dafür?

1. Save loading time increased twice.

2. If select road upgrade tool and hover mouse over road  fps decrease from 40-60 to 11-14 and game freezes for second at two.

3. If select road bulldoze tool and hover mouse over any object fps decrease from 40-60 to 9-10 and game freezes for second at two.

4. Zooming is now freezing several time during fool zoom in/zoom out.

Tried saved games, new game with and without mods.

My spec: I5, 3.7Ghz, 16Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 76o, Windows 10 x64.

 

How can I downgrade to previous build?

This makes the train’s speed go down to zero so even if I go in to manually put it in the proper direction, it still messes with my time tables. Please fix this.

Everything is blockaded, none of the trams will proceed, but neither do the cars or pedestrians, which could walk/drive their way without issues.

They block the crossing to each other, which results a traffic jam, which wont solve itself, resulting a massive minus to the income.

This problem often apears, if you have tram lines with many trams on it. It also hapens to normal sized tram lines, but less often.

Please fix this

As you can see, the gray circle is missing under the mouse pointer. If I move the camera (or tilt it) it shows again.

Depot outside map.

The depot connection to the track is inside the map boundary. The track is half outside the map because the build cursor was exactly on the edge.

 

The station was built exactly on the map edge. There was no problem to connect the tracks outside the meap, even if the end points was outside the map (the station). Start point was on the map.

 

I guess the easiest way to fix this is to perform a collision test with the map border.

since I am still waiting for a reply in the official steam support forums (for 4 days now!), I wanted to try it here. I find it rather sad that I had to register in yet another forum to (hopefully) get any support from the devs, a simple ticketing system for support would be much easier and professional.

Bug – new game launch

I recently installed a vanilla version on a new PC. No changes have been made, the game is completely vanilla.

Now, when I try to start a new game, the game crashes after I clicked start. I get the following error message:

File: res/models/model/station/road/cargo_medium_new.mdl
This file contains malformed UTF-8 byte sequences. Thats probalby because it was saved with a different encoding. Please convert it to UTF-8 using your favorite text editor.

Since this is a fresh, clean install from Steam, I have no idea where the problem lies. Seems the install is faulty.
Please fix Train Fever team.

PS: I realise this is a known issue, but the fix stated in the previous post (i.e. patched) is not true, game was only downloaded a couple of days ago, the fix supposedly occured on the 27th of March.
