I have even tried playing the game with out the mods it will not work I removed the saved game file and this did make the game work and now I’ very upset and still no updated patch to fix the game and it now may
I have made my mind up to leave train fever since I’m unable to and no new patch is not coming anytime soon
and I discuss this with my train fever group out of 19 people only 2 can still play the game
The old way of using managers to install mods was making the game unstable. You have to delete the game through Steam, then reinstall the game. After that Verify the game files through Steam. All mods are to be drag and drop into the games new Mod folder. Do not use managers as they just install mods right back into the game’s content files.
If you delete mods that you have used on a saved game file, then when you reload that saved game file, where is the game to get the model from? Of course it will crash without that if you delete it.
Just re-install the game and you should be good, just don’t use managers for mod installs. Game runs fine.
The Train Fever Mod Manager (TFMM) [must be latest version 0.8.111] now instals mods correctly and is highly recommended. NB: You will still need to update the game as described above.
