    Thanks, I must create small aplication for simply converting of this towns. I hope, next weekend it can be done. Btw. I’m czech too, but I want save this thread readable for everyone 🙂

    Well we have a lot of czech vehicles in CiM, I think with time it will be convert to TF.

    Nice. I hope we can use your models and I can contact other authors and ask them for models. But this .gs file. How can I convert them to standard graphic formats?

    @Iver Well I created the towns.lua file, here it is: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1LNI_b0tV-MNVdOdzA0MklEbTA&usp=sharing

    Warning: More than 5000 towns!

     

    towns-uniq.lua contains only unique names, no repetition.

    Feel free to use it for the mod.

     

    EDIT: Added almost 2000 street names from BRNO

     

    PS: The scrips should work, but I didnt test them since Im still waiting for my copy from Amazon to arrive

    copy and paste from spreadsheet and then simple regular expression;) Power of Linux:D

     

    Plus the street names from Brno. Thank you Police Czech Republic:D

    SOurces are govenrment (the link in my first post) and for street names Policie ČR (link in script )

    I have my own C# application (5 minutes of work) which takes long string of towns and streets separated by “, “, convert it to array and than simply create structure with tabs and new rows 🙂 This way, I was created first version of towns from czech wiki and Prague streets from fanpage with list of them. But I hope, Linux is more powerfull 🙂

    Hi,

    if you need more whatever czech names (cities, streets, countries, etc.) you can use cuzk vdp (http://vdp.cuzk.cz/). It contains all addresses in Czech Republic but you need xsd parser or own xml parser (SAX ideally, prague xml is very big for DOM parser).

    @z0ny own parser is not necesary (all that is needed is grep and sed;)), if someone want I can make Prague streets….But we have already 5000 street names from Brno

    Thank you guys, every street list can help. When you should create list in minutes, you can do it. Becouse I must write own parser in C# and i don’t have much of time for it. I’m working on my own game fulltime.
