32bit?

Hi,

I’m getting an error message saying that the .exe is not compatible with the version of windows I’m running (Win 7 32bit).

I’ve had this with a couple of games recently, tried running as admin and compatability mode but no good, is there more than one version?

There is a 64bit and a 32bit version, but steam does select the correct one when you download the game.

Can I somehow decide which version I want to download regardless of what steam wants to do?

How can you choose to download the 32 bit version? I keep downloading the 64 bit and it won’t load past the start screen!

This seems like a steam error, not a game error, because steam does the selection of the version and if it fails, it’s steams fault.
I think steam support can help you.
