ParticipantThis looks very very nice Rene. I’m going to try it as soon as I re-install the game. My computer needed to be redone. Too bad it didn’t work like Locomotion where the season changes every so often and snow is on the ground. It would be cool if they could implement something like this in the future. I think it looks awesome with all the snow. I’m from Chicago and enjoy the snow most years. I just can do without the cold….
Thank you for the mod

ParticipantI tried this mod the other day… it does indeed look very nice, Thanks…
One suggestion, perhaps the larger the road, the less snow coverage which would make it a little more realistic later game especially… maybe not the old roads. On the premise that an avenue would more than likely be gritted / treated and heavy use to avoid large buildups… normal roads, not so much… and smallest roads would be a death trap 😛

ParticipantHi,
I try it and it fits to the season perfectly.
By the way, i’d try to go back to my original configuration by doing a reverse backup of my files, and it does not work as expected. Fields go back to green but roads, streets, tracks and somme forests are still under the snow. I had to re install the game thru steam to go back to summer time.
I guess i miss something. Can we have a procedure to install the mod ?
Thanks to you

ParticipantDid you use the mod manager? If not, I recommend it. It backs up the files etc and can activate / de-activate mods.
Also, you can do a verify of game-cache in steam if you really need to.November 1, 2014 at 15:40 #12862farani
Participanti did not use Mod Manager indeed. It was not mentionned in the first post.

ParticipantHello,
I did all what you said. Using TFM, loading the last version. Installing the mod with TFM. It’s ok and wonderfull !
I unload the mod with TFM and i have a message that 9 files can’t be reloaded. I run TF, load my saved game. Fields are green as expected, but roads, streets, stations, houses are still under snow! Does texture are save with the game ?
Regards
PS: sorry for my english. I’m a french native from Paris

ParticipantNo problems found here. tested the new versioin on 2 different PC. Works fine with the TrainFeverModManager.
If you still have Problems with snow, try a newer version of TFMM. To get your Game back to work properly, let Steam check the files. It will renew damaged files then.
Best regards
