I decided to put some music in the res/audio/music folder. Some ambient noises. Then I converted the MP3 to OGG, the format the game require for music. The problem is that all sounds show as unknow. They play normally but no name.

Then I tried to add Artist and Name in Properties of the file and there is no field for that. So I suppose OGG file have no ID3 tag? If so, how the official OGG files get the name on the game?

Hi, I converted some MP3 files to OGG and they play fine including displaying the artist and title. I used the free converter from Cyberpower (Ver: 9.8.6) http://www.freemp3wmaconverter.com/

Thanks. The problem was really the converter that was removing the tags. I tried to add the tag with EasyTag but somehow Im allowed to change the file. So I used another converter.

P.S.: for the record I used http://audio.online-convert.com/. I did not like the link you sent me at all. The installation tried to install WAY TOO MANY other softwares in my machine. That is why I hate freeware.

Glad you solved it, I know freeware is crafty in trying to load other stuff, you just have to spot the (pre-ticked) boxes, and untick them to opt out.

Well yes, usually. But I had some cases that even opting out the software was installed. Not very trustable.

Just an update, I manage to edit the Mp3Tag with http://www.mp3tag.de/en/.
