I have to take it back. I tried every possible way to connect that forrest, built truck stops all over the place and finally it started producing. Anyway, I will never destruct the original dirt road again, that was a lot of work to bring it to produce.

Thanks again for your hint, without it I would certainly have given up.

Thank you for the reply. I played around the forrest and  wahtever I tried it will not produce. Maybe the earlier destruction of the dirt road made it impossible to connect to that forrest?

I then tried the following. On another spot I have an oil well, I built a truck stop, but not connected to the dirt road leading to the oil well and it didn’t produce either. Next I built another truck stop connecting to the dirt road leading to the oil well and the well immediatly started producing.

I’m pretty sure destructing the dirt road to the forrest was the only time I did that on the entire map.
