Game crashes when making a new world

    I just bought the game but when I create a world it loads to 100% then crashes with no error message. I am running windows 8 64bit all my drivers are up to date. I have tried redownloading  the game and it still doesn’t work

    Can you open task manager and view it while the game loads to monitor the game? What are your system’s specs?

    Also try using Windows 8.1 (if possible) over Windows 8.

    I have a laptop with a Intel Core i5-4200U  microprocessor and Intel HD Graphics 4600    and 8 GB ram.

    I will try to update to 8.1 to see if it helps.

    Updating to windows 8.1 fixed the problem thank you for suggesting it.
