Mac Version: some important suggestions

first of all: great Game, now that it runs on my mac! Also, the start of the Game ist very fast!

Following things i would like to bring to the devs:

1.) zooming mit Apple Magic Mouse

… is horrible – best would be to have an setting option to change sensitivity of the mouse scroll speed

2.) no angle view change on Magic Mouse

since this widely installed mouse has no middle-button to click, there is no chance to change the view or rotate the screen. Maybe enabling custom keys for this will help

3.) scrolling the map

i can scroll left and right, but not both with my mouse on the screenedge – with the cursor keys it is possible, but not with the mouse

 

if you could fix at least the first 2 points i (and of course most of all mac players) would be really happy.

Please let me know if you can/will fix this serious issues – of course there will be more bugs to fix before as they are more important

Hi ma2412,

You are so right about the scrolling sensitivity and the missing of the “middle button”

I cannot Tilt the screen either.

I also didn’t find the way yet how I can fix the camera ont a train of bus, so it follows the vehicle/train.

 

scrolling horizontal left and right and backwards and forward does work for me with the mouse. Just click the richt mousebutton en hold it while you move the mouse left and right.

The tilt view can be solved for eg. by pressing CMD-key while moving with the mouse – but only if the devs can build this feature in.

that could be a fast fix.

I fully agree with you.

I would say this and a quick bugfix for the scrolling function with the Intellimouse are top of my wish list

Along with the wish I could follow the train/vehicle I select with the camera-view.

haha,  Do you think they also read this whole forum?

Do you have any idea how we can address them at all?

 

p.s. I found out how to chase the trains and cars with the camera, just clic the little cros in the little wind of the particular train.

ps2.  When you hold the right mousebuttun (intellimouse)  The mouse cursor holds on tight to the map and you van move the map up, down, left and right.

I would suggest e scrollfunction for the Mac with keys, f.i. cmd + arrows  or just i and o  (in and out)

Just to avoid the very sensible intellimous scroll-function.

What do you mean, did they implement ate this already?

I have had a simple tip:  use an old usb-mous from your old Windows laptop.

Works perfectly with my MAC. Just plug in the don gel en use the mouse.

get the latest update, you now can tilt with CMD + left Mouseclick and movement of the mouse.

I found the release notes of the update and tested it in the game. Just fine. The scrolling goes smoothly an much more directly. Only here-fore my game is already 50% faster 😉

tilting with the <r> and <f> button is also great. The only problem is that when tilted my game stocks when having a camera on a train, because of my Video-card. It’s a pity it seems that one cannot upgrade ones videocard in an iMac.
