I’m actually surprised so little people have addressed this problem earlier, but it’s really bugging me.

The maximum capacity I’ve seen on a large truck station (for one platform) is about 16. For me, this is just not enough. I’ve got a single line from a oil well to a refinery. The oil well produces about 400, which means oil comes in big flows, I estimate about 40 units at a time. Now I have a 40 ton truck waiting all the time, so 20 units are transported immediately. In the time it takes the next truck to pull up (which was waiting behind) the other 20 ish units have reached the truck station. But the problem: There are only 16 units available, because the truck station can’t handle more.

Could anyone please tell me how I can change the capacity of the truck station, if it is possible?

Tim

Higher Cargo Rates /forums/topic/higher-cargo-rates/ Sat, 06 Sep 2014 14:34:01 +0000 /forums/topic/higher-cargo-rates/ Continue reading ]]> Are there any good modding folk out there who know how or are working on increasing factory/resource outputs. I would love to create a huge freight line but the production buildings are so difficult to get going and even when they do it can take decades to get the production potential up to the 50’s.

Looking for modders /forums/topic/looking-for-modders/ Fri, 20 Jun 2014 19:14:40 +0000 /forums/topic/looking-for-modders/ Continue reading ]]> Hey guys jm764 here, I’ve decided to make a mod pack( or more) based on American vehicles and buildings from 1829 – 2050 (gonna need some help with those future ones) while I wait for the developers to release the game.

So Im looking for anyone who want’s to help. Even if you have no programing and 3D modeling skills, I don’t mind as long as you can help research information for those who can do so.

Btw I’m also on working on a free remake of Railroad Pioneer by the former game studio JoWood (now nordic games) as well… but I decided to enhance my modding skills before tackling such a huge task as developing the game.

Here’s the resources I’ll be using: http://railroadpioneer.webs.com/apps/blog/show/42385439-rrp2-update-2-resource-material-and-rp-on-sale-

Steam Workshop /forums/topic/steam-workshop/ Fri, 20 Jun 2014 12:48:05 +0000 /forums/topic/steam-workshop/ So, we know that modding will be available in Train Fever, but will it support Steam Workshop? With poll and so on, like, you know, hats in Team Fortress 2 😀

Modding capability? /forums/topic/modding-capability/ Thu, 20 Jun 2013 19:08:26 +0000 /forums/topic/modding-capability/ Continue reading ]]> One of the best things I love about OpenTTD is the absolutely amazing modding ability. (and the modding community it has because of this). With the NewGRFs you can get for OTTD you can take the basegame and make it oh so much better, going so far as making it perfectly playable over a hundred years before you normally can start.   (The only way I play OTTD is to start in 1800 with horse drawn carriages and sailing ships)

So my question is, how moddable will Train Fever be?

Side note: Honestly these days with expenses being a factor for myself, a game with extensive moddability and a good modding community to go with it is pretty crucial for me to make the decision to buy a game, modders can do so so so much for the longevity of a game and turn it from a game I play for a few weeks to a game I play for a few years.( There is a reason why I only played Total War: Shogun 2 for a couple hours and uninstalled, while Medieval 2: Total War has a constant place on my HDD)
