I was using the TTD mentality for a long time – lots and lots of signal blocks for each line. TF doesn’t really require such frequent spacing of signals. So I place less and click less.

Yes this is a very annoying feature. I have learnt to live with the initial slow burn it takes to get them going, however I have fallen foul of the downgrade issue a few times now.

With regards to your trains waiting on full loads, doesn’t that push you over the 20 min window on those lines? I just run my cargo routes to any load, even if they are running almost empty, to avoid the 20 min window issue.

When I get the train into London, I drive and park at the station and then get the train. Maybe car parks need to be added to stations? We collect revenue from parked vehicles too maybe. Just an idea.

It kind of makes sense to me. The larger towns grow the more jobs, leisure and homes are created, alone with new people. The places they want to go will change as the game population grows and the distance you can travel in 20 minutes becomes longer. Therefore I see it as a dynamic (real world) experience. I have seen routes within games increase in popularity as I progress through the years.
