LeszekParticipant
And we have an update!
Yay! <Does a little dance>
LeszekParticipantWell it is good to see life but I don’t think that post will cut it.
They need an official announcement on the main page. Like I said before, just a 3 line blurb. Otherwise people are still going to unsure. And really the lack of a communication officer isn’t that good an excuse. Just 5 minutes and 3 lines on the main page. Really.
LeszekParticipantPerhaps somebody’s locked them in a room and is forcing them to continuously play OpenTTD
Play OTTD until you learn how to make a vehicle management/upgrade GUI! (Not that I am complaining, ahh who am I kidding, I am complaining. They can skip on hiring a guy for communication and hire a GUI specialist. Then they can post that they hired a GUI specialist and in so doing, communicate.)
This link, which I got from someone else in this very thread: https://www.facebook.com/TrainFeverGame/posts/1607587879494932
I said it was in a tweet, but it was Facebook. Pay attention to the replies. Like I said not a whole lot there, that is why I didn’t report more.

LeszekParticipantAnd when i red about the double track switches i felt like cheering :D:D:D:D i just hope it’s true and they’re coming !
Where did you read that? Do you have a link? What else is in the pipeline?
I read that too, it was in a Tweet I think, and it was in German, I used the translate function to read it. It didn’t say all that much and there is in general a lack of information.
It has been now 6 days since my original post and we still don’t have anything official from the devs on the site that I can see. Since my original post I have found some stuff in German as I already mentioned above but translating German tweets in an effort to divine some news is for the birds. Something official here on the forums or a progress report on the main page would be nice. It doesn’t have to be extensive. Just a hello, we haven’t forgot about you, no we aren’t all dead in a bus/train/plane/computer crash would suffice.
LeszekParticipantPasi: Yep I tried those, left to right, right to left, second track underneath. Those tricks work but not always. 🙁
spill: That is a good idea, that could have saved me some trouble.
simonmd: Yes I also figure being able to lay multiple lanes of track at once is a good idea but the track planning tool is a higher priority to me. It solves more issues at once. I just stuck with what I consider more important because I didn’t want to recreate the whole suggestions/fixes thread here. As for the tunnel, you are right it is drastic to destroy a tunnel already built and paid for but I wasn’t able to find another solution at the time. Splitting the track is so obvious in hindsight but at the time I wasn’t able to think outside that particular box. Experience is not something you get until right after you needed it.
