Hi, I have been countering the same problem.

The train stands still and the message it gives is that there is no track / no line (I play in German so don’t know exactly what the English message is)

But anyway, when this occurs I always select the electrify-tool and follow the line the loc is supposed to go.

You have to look carefully for the little piece that stays green instead of already red. In every single time I got this message there was a small piece of electrified track along the lind the Loc had to ride.

I don’t know the rest of your specs, but mine are:

iMac
Processor  2,7 GHz Intel Core i5

Geheugen  8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Videokaart  AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB

And with this Mac I can play the game, but only on the lowest grafic settings and I have until now only played on the smallest Map. I am not sure if that works. The 512 MB of my Video-card is the absolute minimum.

Same here, been away for the weekend and now the game won’t even start. I only see a black screen with the mouse-cursor-arrow.  wednesday september 24 it was OK sunday september 28th it wouldn’t start.

Can this latest patch cause the problem?

I found the release notes of the update and tested it in the game. Just fine. The scrolling goes smoothly an much more directly. Only here-fore my game is already 50% faster 😉

tilting with the <r> and <f> button is also great. The only problem is that when tilted my game stocks when having a camera on a train, because of my Video-card. It’s a pity it seems that one cannot upgrade ones videocard in an iMac.

What do you mean, did they implement ate this already?

I have had a simple tip:  use an old usb-mous from your old Windows laptop.

Works perfectly with my MAC. Just plug in the don gel en use the mouse.

I would suggest e scrollfunction for the Mac with keys, f.i. cmd + arrows  or just i and o  (in and out)

Just to avoid the very sensible intellimous scroll-function.

haha,  Do you think they also read this whole forum?

Do you have any idea how we can address them at all?

 

p.s. I found out how to chase the trains and cars with the camera, just clic the little cros in the little wind of the particular train.

ps2.  When you hold the right mousebuttun (intellimouse)  The mouse cursor holds on tight to the map and you van move the map up, down, left and right.

I fully agree with you.

I would say this and a quick bugfix for the scrolling function with the Intellimouse are top of my wish list

Along with the wish I could follow the train/vehicle I select with the camera-view.

Hi ma2412,

You are so right about the scrolling sensitivity and the missing of the “middle button”

I cannot Tilt the screen either.

I also didn’t find the way yet how I can fix the camera ont a train of bus, so it follows the vehicle/train.

 

scrolling horizontal left and right and backwards and forward does work for me with the mouse. Just click the richt mousebutton en hold it while you move the mouse left and right.

Strange, but I can not find anything with the name Steam of TrainFever in it on my computer at all. The only thing I can find is the little steam.app, nothing else.
