A couple of suggestions for the forum:
- Fix whatever is wrong with https://. Firefox/Mozilla says train-fever.com is mis-configured.
- I suspect the registration process does not support email addresses like somename@ix.netcom.com (and it should.) (Still waiting for a confirmation for pjmman that uses that very email construct.)
The second is minor, but the lack of secure connections is not.
