No problem, as soon I get some time I can make a load mod in the same style as the time and cost mod.

The mod has been adopted to the new mod system. You should not use LuaTF.exe.

I don’t own this thread so I can’t change the instructions in the first post. You will always find the latest news and instructions here:

    v0.92.1.19-1254

    * Works with GOG and Steam clients (autodetection).
    * Fixed a crash if some variables in info.lua wasn’t defined.
    * Fixed the never ending Avatar Load animation and some stability issues.
    * Added a force download button to update TFGM.
    * Fixed a crash when mod image was corrupt. A default “Broken Image” is displayed instead.
    * Removed the base line check. You have to remember to manage this by yourself now on IF you still install the legacy way.

    * New concept.
A mod is first registered in TFGM (called install before). This only copies/moves the archive to TFGM library.
A mod is installed from TFGM to show up in TF manager.

For everyone using TFGM 0.90.1.53 – 1250 and onwards will get this new version pushed out automatically on next update check.

    v0.91.1.55 -1251

Scan mods/ folder for installed mods not yet registered in TFGM. New mods will be compressed, put in the TFGM library and registered in TFGM.

The scan can be performed automatically at startup or manually from the Files menu. This can be configured in TFGM Preferences->General tab.

For everyone using TFGM 0.90.1.53 – 1250 and onwards will get this new version pushed out automatically on next update check.

I don’t have GoG so I don’t know what the problem is. You can contact me PM on Train-Fever.net and we can try to find a solution.

This is because your Steam Client folder isn’t setup right.

You can manually force a reconfiguration by deleting %appdata%\Train Fever Game Manager\preferences.lua and then start TFGM. Observe that the path shall go to your Steam client not Train Fever.

When the path is okay it turns green.

The latest TFGM version is 0.8.10.44 – 1245

    Hope this helps.

The first image link is broken. Are you sure it is public in your dropbox?

When do you get this error?

What version of TFGM are you using?

So finally, Timeless v3.0 for the new mod system.

The timeless mod hasn’t been updated to the new mod format yet. If you absolutely want to use it now, you have to right click and select “Enable Legacy mod”. If that option is grayed out it means it is already enabled in normal mode.

Disable the mod and right click, “Enable Legacy mod”.

The mod will modify all your vanilla vehicles but can’t modify mods in the new format or the USA DLC. For this you need to wait until I have converted the mod to the new system.

Did t he cost mod work for you now when you activated it in TF’s manager?

‘enable in TFGM” means the normal mode (not “Enable legacy mod…”).

Train Fever now have official support for mods and you have to select inside train fever what mods to have active when playing. TFGM only prepares the mods for TF’s internal manager (for now).

In TF, if you click on the “advance” tab, just below the Europe and USA DLC icons you will see two list windows. One with available mods and one with Active mods.

You need to activate the mods you want to use.

Timeless mod isn’t converted yet and will not work in the new mod system unless you use the “Enable legacy mod…” option.

After you have enabled the cost mod in TFGM, you will see it in TF’s manager. Here you have to activate the mod and create a new game to use it.

You can also, in TF, add the mod to a already saved game.

I have released a hotfix v2.10 to fix the issue that v2.0 didn’t uninstall the previous version correctly.
