@Enzojz: When i see those pics only think: “HOW DID HE DO THAT!” I barely manage to create a nice tunnel. After hundered hours of gameplay i finally know how to build a road over a track. Looking great!
BkimParticipantI do hope that the next game will be a sequel to TF with an engine that gives the devs more possibilities to exploit all TF requests. But we can only wait for the new blog…(which is taking way to long). No pressure 🙂
BkimParticipantIs it not possible that Urban games will go for a complete new genre?
BkimParticipantEnzojz, thanks for the info, now i know why they cant use a single platform simultaneous.
Well, combining stations is a whole other story. As it is not possible to adapt a station directly to the landscape (it always keep horizontal) i am having a very hard time in placing two station either against each other or place them in length of each other.
BkimParticipantHello Tom, thanks for responding on my post. I have not been clear about my post. Sometimes it is hard to translate my dutch thought into plain and simple english.
Regarding #4. Say i have a 320 mtr long platform. In Amsterdam Central Station trains can use the same platform from both sides simultaneous.
Regarding #10: Thanks for the pic. Now i understand how signals are being used in TF.
Regards, Boby
BkimParticipantThanks Tom!
BkimParticipantI do not want to make a comparison between games. This game has a lot of good features from other games. For me (personally) gameplay is important. I just want my map to look good so i use loads of signals, even if they are not necessary. Like those train yards, after i have build them i want all signals to be correct. But yeah, a workaround could be only to place the signals that really matter…
BkimParticipantHi people,
I dived into Trainfever for the first time since release and i like it a lot. Here are my suggestions:
– Right click delete. Placing signals and misplacing them it would be nice to delete a signal with the right mouse button. Once deleted, you can progress placing signals with left button without going to the menu, click bulldozer, remove signal, select signals again etc. Same for track building.
– Vehicle names: I create my first busline in London. I call that line: “London busline 1”. Then i create a vehicle that i connect to that busline. It would be nice if the bus copies the name i gave to the line instead of the default name: “Vehicle 1”.
– Signals: i would like to select either a one way signal or two way signal from the building menu
– An option to resize windows.
– Renaming lines and vehicles: first i have to delete the default text with backspace. An option to overwrite the default name would be nice.
– In game terrain editor expanded (like Roller Coaster Tycoon 3)
So far my list. When there is more i will edit this post.
