That looks about what I do, though I don’t think I’ve reached that far in the game. Not far off 1900 😛
I think I normally have my wait time down around 60 seconds.
I generally have decent income though, $80 k +, but that is with 6-8 horse drawn carriages.
pantnerParticipantjust want to say, the game has been out for 4 days… ANY updates to a game in that time IMO is pretty good (especially when those 4 days are over a weekend)

I agree with most, if not all your points and while I am starting to love the game, changing those would make the game much more enjoyable 🙂
I really hope the Devs read though it.
pantnerParticipantYes, you need to give the refinery the Oil, you also *need* to give the refinery access to a city. It will only produce if there is a demand for it from a city.
The order is the opposite of the way people think… A Factory will only start to produce if it has a decent link to a City to give it’s goods. A “mine” (ie, oil) will only give the raw material if the factory it has a decent link to is producing.
Most people would think the other way, you deliver goods to a factory that it blindly turns into goods and then you pass it on to a city.
pantnerParticipantbasically, you need to meet a number of requirements before a factory will start using your train/cargo line. It is based on many things, access to raw materials, demand from a city and transport time.
pantnerParticipanteither with a train with the correct wagon (some only take oil, some only wood, some iron/coal) or a cargo “truck” (or horse drawn carriage) with either a cargo depot or a train cargo platform.
have a read through the guide I posted too, it will explain a lot that you need to know.
pantnerParticipantI would take off the mod for now, get working in the normal game before you start messing with it.
for an industry to start production it needs a supply of raw materials and transport to a city.
If you only link Oil to an Oil refinery and there is no transport to get the “goods” to a city then it won’t do anything.
The “demand” for goods from the factory directly increases it’s production. The raw materials will then increase their production to meet the factory’s requirements.
Hopefully that makes sense. You should also check out the Guide that was posted here, it has a lot of good information.

pantnerParticipantI believe it is it is 20 minutes to the destination.
So, for a passenger it is 20minutes total time from home to work.
for cargo, I believe it is 20mins from raw material->factory->city
the issue with people disappearing from a moving train, I don’t think it is intentional, but I assume it is related to thos 20minute time limit.
pantnerParticipantFrom my viewing of the forums there have been two common reasons for this issue.
1) Old video Card drivers
2) Running on a system with an unsupported video card (ie, Intel HD4000)
A full list of system specs will help the community and the devs identify problems/give suggestions
pantnerParticipantI’ve noticed this aswell.
I’m guessing it has something to do with the 20min journey time.
ie, passenger goes to other town via train, train gets held up and the journey time increases (or a bus on the other side of the train?) and it pushes the entire journey time over 20mins, poof, passenger gone.
It might happen on buses/coaches too but it’s not as obvious.
