On the download page, it lists as work in progress:
- a spreadsheet that allows to calculate new running costs and prices for modded vehicles.
Is there any chance that that was ever completed? I’m not much of a modder but I’m sure if I knew what values to modify it wouldn’t be too difficult to do a (very basic) update for the USA dlc.

I once set up a train line with 15 goods cars going all the way across the map. It always lost something like $1.5 million and the only reason I even kept it around was becasue I liked seeing it go by. It would be nice to see the 20 minute rule go away for freight, and perhaps have it start at a higher number and reduce over time for pedestrians, so that in the early years when trains are too slow to cross a large map within 20 minutes people don’t just travel to only nearby cities.

Most of your criticism I can understand, but this one surprises me. I always build my train lines with 3-9 stations on them, and have had no problem making large amounts of money with them, even post-1950. 4 minute frequencies or better, and I’ve even seen people make transfers between trains (and of course to local transit). I’m not sure why you’re not making money doing the same, but I’m quite sure it isn’t because of the 20 minute rule.

rodricostakParticipantI’d upgraded to a Radeon R9 280X, and the problem persists, albeit much improved over the HD7770. It didn’t appear until the population on the map grew quite large, and even then doesn’t usually happen unitl about half an hour of gameplay (plus I alt-tab a lot, so that probably does not help). Glad to hear it will be addressed in the next patch.
rodricostakParticipantAre there plans to update this for the USA dlc? Obviously I know it will take some time, just like to know whether it’s in the works.
rodricostakParticipantNone of your image links seem to be working?
rodricostakParticipantNow that we’ve moved from pure bug-fixing patches to ones with content improvements as well, are we likely to see a fix for this soon? I fired up the game after the release of the last patch but am still getting this issue.
rodricostakParticipantThis problem has gotten worse for me:

(I installed the mod that changed the currency and town names after the problem, but before the screenshot, so I know that isn’t what caused it)

rodricostakParticipantBump
rodricostakParticipantI did, but I have only ever used large maps, and when I haven’t built anything it seems to only happen when zoomed quite far out.
rodricostakParticipantSorry to double post, but for me this issue has gotten worse. In addition to the strange rectangular shadows I also get large grey blocks appearing around my field of view that go away when I move the camera. I’ll try to get a screenshot next time it happens, but it seems like it may be related.
rodricostakParticipantBump
rodricostakParticipantI have the exact same problem, and the same graphics card. I have no solution, unfortunately, but I’m posting to confirm that multiple people have this issue.
