    In early years(1850 to 1890)  tram lines are slower and more expensive then busses (stage coach and steam car). So they might not be profitable. People go from their home to one of other sectors and back to their homes (for example home to residential than back to home than shopping than home than work than home than leisure). Make sure you set your lines accordingly. You can click on a citiy’s name to see how much percentage of people of that city are using your line.

    The factories supply is based on the demand. If a cities demand is 45 units of cargo than the factory will produce no more than 45 units. Moreover the primary producers (coal iron and oil) will also produce no more than 45 units.

    If there is a demand, any industry will increase its production by 1 unit per month. Since the increase in production is slow, it is recommended to first serve the industries with road vehicles until the production is high enough

    Industries in Train fever never close, nor new ones appear.

    Initially, if nothing much, atleast drag n drop feature can be added. Atleast a track can be divided this way avoiding errors when upgrading long streches of tracks

    I am successfully running a high speed line between 2 stations that have low speed line also. You will have use seperate tracks even though the station platform is the same

    Waypoints is the answer. You can place waypoints on tracks (waypoints are available in the signal section of construction). You can add waypoints as stops.

    Actually it was a bug in the game. I tried another industry (plastic plant) which was more or less the same distance far to the oil wells. To my surprised it worked.

    The problem is than plastic plant was receiving oil by walking which was preventing another oil wells to supply it.

    TF devs are able to bring a feature who noone wants,  poorly implement and say – Becouse you are cheaters we are giving you main connection rule.

    @gGeorg

    I agree to this point. Main connection feature (or curse) is just destroying the game for me, specially because the construction part of the game is poor.  There could be other consequences implemented for removing the main connection like shrinking cities rapidly.

    One way is to make a rectangle selection  just like in rts games and electricity track that falls in the selection.

    But it would be better if tracks are allowed to be upgraded even if there is a vehicle in the way

    So who put the sticky note. I was surprised to see that one of my suggestion was also listed there.

    @coujou

    I am a TF Fan man actually. 🙂

    I am Not saying that Train fever has no flaws. Infact I am waiting for the developers to fix basic issues like x crossings, three way junctions, replace now function, better track upgrade system and many things that has been discussed below.

    But the point is that, we just made a thread in the name of another game and gossiping about the game.

    We need a proper thread with a proper name with several posts and make the devs realize that they should concentrate on laying the foundation (fix the issues) first and then do the eyecandy stuffs

    LETS CREATE A THREAD CALLED “Train Fever- the good bad and ugly” and discuss all things there.

    It is like an off topic discussion.

    I posted an off topic discussion in train-fever.net regarding a mod and it was deleted in minutes

    🙂

    Well yes that would be helpful. However a true solution would be allow drag and drop style upgrading along with full upgrading.

    WHATS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS

    WHY are you making this post active. Even if you are supporting train fever on this thread, your are making a thread active that is promoting another game from another developer.

    JUST IGNORE THIS THREAD OK!

    Hi Kiwi-Nz

    I am using your Advanced Train fever total

    I am not being able to deliver oil to Plastic plant from a long distance even if the frequency of one train is 12 minutes. I am running 4 trains between them and the frequency is 3 minus. Could it be because the Plastic plant is receiving oil from a nearby Oil wells by walking? Or is it because the game is poor on receiving cargo from long distances compared to shorter distances even if it is by walking

    This nearby Oil wells is already serving a color plant. The problem is that, since the plastic plant is receiving by walking, its production is not increasing from more than 13 units.
