Skumle RafteParticipant
Friday morning then!
Skumle RafteParticipantYeah, I’d like to see waypoints for trains and not lines. Or clever lining that will let trains pick alternative routs if the main one is occupied.
Skumle RafteParticipantI like ALL your suggestions and want them all in sooner or later 🙂
My top 3 is:
Multiplayer. While multiplayer option might still be a long way out, and many other features/tweeks/bugs are more important at the moment, its still my most desired feature.Â
Challenges. Challenges like they where in TT/OpenTTD where great for a lot of reasons. First, if you start your first map in this game its very hard to know what is profitable and what is not. A challenge system might make it easier for new players to quicker understand what is what and all that. for experienced players challenges might be good to challenge you to make lines you would not otherwise do.
Reworked line/path system. For me one of the first disappointments with the game where that the line system would not allow the same grand-scale, complication as OpenTTD would. I quickly gave up making train tracks with multiple lines, or at least not more than two. since its not possible to make fast trains pass slow train on lines with multiple tracks. then its just better to separate lines completely.
- Â Make lines able to take advantage of multiple tracks on its own. So that if one track-line is taken, then pick another one if it leads to the same destination.
- Â At the moment trains will not pick a free station platform if the one it “is used to occupy” is taken.
- Make it possible for tweeking line options for each train on a line, for an example: let train 1 pick up passengers if available, and let train2 wait at station for x amount of time before leaving… or other options. Â

Skumle RafteParticipantIn New York there is a church next to World Trade Center not much larger than that one. Bug or not, I like it
Skumle RafteParticipantI wanted to, I started to. But the signal system is too weak at the moment and lack of waypoints does for so much frustration, trial and error.. mostly error that I just kept most lines separated.
Skumle RafteParticipantGreat 🙂 Thanks Mikael.
I look forward to the next updates.
Now I didn’t expect devs to read or answer every post, but its good to see that the forums gets read 🙂
something you didn’t really feel like with the SimCity forums 😉Skumle RafteParticipantIt’s a little sad that devs don’t ever participate on the forums, at least I’m yet to find any communication from devs other than patch notes..
Skumle RafteParticipantmaking attractive bus/tram-lines in the big cities kills the traffic in most cases.
Also, a little cheat/exploit.. if you destroy the roads between the cities that you have train-lines with will boost the passenger numbers for the train and kill traffic.
Skumle RafteParticipantMy system is far lower spec’ed than yours (I do run 16gb ram though), and although laggy after a an hour of play or so, its nowhere unplayable.
Hope for you they fix it, as your PC should run it finely
Skumle RafteParticipantWith enough patience I was able to find the middle spot of all my tunnels a REAL pain though, also I found out that some bridges was depended on some other tracks to be destroyed before I was able to take them down, strange thing was that they where not even connected anymore.
Thanks for the replies, made me wanna try one last time, and it finally worked.
Skumle RafteParticipantMono: Finding the middle spot did also worked for me a few times, but I also have a few tunnels and bridges that I simply cant delete.
Re the latest patch, its been like this a while.
Also agree with Rysi that zooming in and out while destroying/erasing/deleting is such a pain.
Skumle RafteParticipantYeah, I htought about that to, drawback is that it will create more lines and less passengers per line (it think?)
