    indeed, we need a timetable for trains because they do not spread out evenly. to get a nice spread you almost need a seperate track for each line (passenger and cargo) which results i wide railways which could be much smaller with a timetable

    you could try to make 2 train depots, one on each end of the track and let 4 trains depart from each

    Going off what you have said Mansen, regarding the amount of cash available at the start, it may be best to just use road transport to start with and get the industries producing, so that more funds are available to get at least a few rail lines in place. Best not to be too ambitious early on in the game I suppose. [source: GeoffersH]

    if you go for the train fever achievement you cant use trams/busses/trucks until 2000 so you need to have ambition

    i agree the devs should make seperate wagons for coal and for iron ore or at least make it that only 1 type of cargo can be inserted into a open wagon at a time

    the game should indeed speed up unloading / loading of passengers because now 2 doors or 10 doors doesn’t influence the time needed for unloading / loading

    in the netherlands passengers wait on the platforms till all passengers who want out have gotten out and then they start boarding the train.

    @RickD when at 1 “door A” no passengers come out anymore at “door A” passengers can start entering the train while at the same time at “door B” still passengers come out

    maybe you could try to ungroup the station so that the game thinks it are 5 seperate “stations”

    how do you get cities to grow this much? i always have trouble with that

    i get the same thing as Yeol. neighbouring towns with no transport and no cargo supply sometimes grow faster then cities with inside transport + intercity transport + cargo supply

    also bridges like the Golden Gate Bridge would be nice,

    just 1/2 pillar(s) and a big span

    what also would be nice are dual use stations. so passengers and cargo at the same station. it would help boost profits
