There is a difference between complaining and feedback, but either way it is sad to be a human.

People are pathetic.  Don’t buy a product and then complain, you look like an idiot.  Instead, first research the product with the vast amount of media and reviews available, and then decide whether or not to make the purchase based on your research.  If you choose not to research and then blindly buy products and then complain, you should probably start eating your own shit.

It’s all good, just a point of forum etiquette.

I have not tried this with trains, but I have had some really cool networks from vehicles.  Central stations and relay stations that transfer materials and good between industries and towns.  I’ll upload a ss later if I think of it.

I don’t have any of the performance problems you are talking about, and it is really easy to figure out the controls on your own.  They are all quite intuitive, IMO.  Of course this is a modern game, so you will need a modern PC to run it, but nothing extraordinary, however they have said that performance enhancements are in the works.  If they said ‘after release’ and did not specify when, no credibility lost.

I believe the reason they have not respoended is because I accidentally put this in the support forums and not general discussion, and this topic is far from support related.

I am mostly curious about their release plans, with no criticism intended in the initial question.

Also, please do not derail forum topics.  This thread was intended as a true question, not as a place to complain about random things that bother you about the game.  I recommend making your own topic to do so.

It sounds like rails are broken somewhere, or if it is electric, some rails are not electrified.  If it is neither of those, then somehow one of the stops on the line is not able to be reached, either because it no longer exists (deleted and replaced, but not close enough to take the spot), or because it is attached to a different rail altogether.

If none of these is true, then it is beyond my scope of understanding!

Edit : Maybe you told the train to stop?  If you click on one and look in it’s main information window, just below the view of the train is start/stop and reverse buttons.

You can get similar interesting effects by messing with tunnels.  I had tracks entering a slope into a tunnel, except there was no tunnel.  If you build a tunnel in multiple sections and then delete the entrance / exit, you can do some very strange things with the left over piece in the middle.  It doesn’t fail all of the time though.

I too get lost in watching my vehicles sometimes.  Let us not forget, though, that money is the most important thing in the world, including virtual money!  Get that bank account rolling!

It does matter what tool you use.  If you are familiar with Sketch Up, that’s great, use that to learn a better program.  The increase in results is phenomenal when using Blender over Sketch Up.

Then again, if you are a person who is so stuck in their ways that you cannot learn a new program, then go ahead and use Sketch Up.

I highly recommend using Blender instead of Sketch Up.  It is better in absolutely every aspect.
