Cpt.SpaghettiParticipant
and with trams you can have a much higher frequenzy for city to city connections without higher cost or other noticeable downsides.

Cpt.SpaghettiParticipanty i think the interest rate changes. On easy i think it’s 1% the others i dont know. You have to check out urself.
September 29, 2014 at 23:30 in reply to: Passengers are jumping from running train (good suicide probably :o))) #10376Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantyeah i am pretty sure it has to do with the 20 min rule. After that time citizen disappear ( doesnt matter where they are). Traffic isnt calculated beforehand, therefor if passenger have to wait longer than the frequency estimates they will sooner or later dissappear .
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipanti have thought about those two things too. But timetable seem for me way to much work that isnt fun to do. Maybe if it made super easy and still functional i’d give it a try. i rather have priority lanes or even trains. Also nice would be a option to give lights also a priority.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantno? just turn them around^^ and let them go off.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantbei mir lief das game von anfang an, aber seid ich das in diesem guide gemacht habe, läuft es deutlich besser.

Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantto get to know the mechanics and have a better feeling how to build production line, start with a truck line, it’s way easier. And enable the cargo option bottem right. This way you see which villages automatically get goods.
At the beginning around 5 trucks should work for a short production route. And always connect the goods to the nearest city at the beginning.
September 22, 2014 at 00:54 in reply to: Why is the industry production in this setup VERY unstable? #9604Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantdid u enable the cargo button (bottem right), there u see what the cargo does? Maybe that tells u more. So far i didnt experience this.
Best thing is anyway to enable the option fill fully up. Then u see if u have either too many trucks or not enough to make the most out of it.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantPS Where can I find my screenshots made by F12 on my harddisk?
Rightclick on Trainfever in your steam library, then show screenshot
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantswitching path (set a waypoint) is definitly needed, but it wont solve all the problems because we cant foresee what happens when severall lines interact. There is no timetable. On very busy tracks there will always trains get stuck or wait too long even if there is a free line.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantSince TF doesnt have a control center that coordinates train it’s lines and on the otherhand there are no timetable i think a dynamic waypoint system is definitely. For me it’s important that it feels realistic as if there is a control center. I mean there is always a diversity to reality, there is no perfect solution. Therefor i rather have trains switching tracks and platforms than a train waiting for specified track.
But i also can see why someone says he prefers the system that is implemented right now.
My suggestion would be, that there should be an option in the linewindow where u can enable dynamic waypoint system or the one we have. This way every one can decide by himself what he wants for a specific line. So pls Devs dont force certain behaviour if u dont need to.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipanty i thought about that too. Make a fixes time but in relation to the train composition. Little trains usually have shorter waittimes in reality.
September 18, 2014 at 20:50 in reply to: WISH: trigger (pop-up window) when a line has no income anymore. #9173Cpt.SpaghettiParticipantWell, no income is no income 😉 i think he wrote it clearly.
But we need this to enable or disable in options. Sometimes you just build a line for beauty or anything or to test things out. I wouldnt like to have popups all the time.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipant@Roanoss 4 Tracks arent a problem for the pillars but i think much more isnt possible. We need more brigdetypes that can handle longer distances without pillars.
Cpt.SpaghettiParticipanti havent read all of it.
But… after 1950 or something u have to be faster than cars with your line system and this is hard. Your train and bus/tram connection needs to be super fast with a low frequency. But i havent tested it out well enough.
