    coal ore east at the coal mine is a bus stop……………….Both cyan ones are a bus station :O

     

    Just look on the building icon it shows a bus and not the usual i think truck.

    You are using a bus stop instead of a cargo station.

    Just wish the game told you about it 😉

     

    Also if you want to change out all the vehicles fast in a line then press the “$” symbol the right of the name of the line in the all lines info tab. They will then automatically go to the depot and sell them selfes.

    you can by using signals. Basically what you do is after your first station you build a signal the length away from that station you want the trains to be separated.

    For anyones info it is possible to alter any vehicles capacity, speed, power, traction etc through the config folder, models, model, vehicle

    Ive heard it’s not possible atm, but i think the limit was set due to it making people do more of the traveleing themselfes or something atleast it’s not possible atm.

    @leew yes, but it seems like some cars dosent wanna follow the rules all the time so they still choose to drive on the bus lanes, but then again bus lanes would not have been as needed if it just weren’t for how stupid the cars get at the traffic crosses. Just take a moment of time and look for a traffic jam then look on the traffic crosses nearby.

    There should be those bus lanes that only buses and trams can drive on, but i suppose i could also look into altering some lua files and see if  i can create a road type that can only be driven on by buses and trams, and also walked on ofc  😉

    @Azrael I suppose you may be very right at this moment as i did not think about it as an emergency breaking mechanisme XD Thanks for the info atleast.

    Well i did my tests on a straight line that was almost perfectly flat 😉 So nothing was in it’s way basically.

    Which is why ive been planning a new mod for train fever that adds upgraded trains, buses etc. Ofcourse without new models cuz whe can’t do so yet without hacking it in ive heard some tryeing.

    Atleast i want to make a simple mod that adds new types of vehicles that have higher power, less maintenance, more efficient capacity(yes it may seem unrealistic at first, but then it its not, take a search about those seats which are planned to be put on planes which have people to stand nearly straight up instead of sitting! ) And more 😉

    You could by just copy pasteing the .lua file for the longest bus then edit it to have it carry more passengers

    @Twofl IM running with a 3 min freq on my main passenger line consisting of 6 cities And i’m doing fairly well at some points when i’m making ~15 m per year on it 😉

    From looking through the configs:

    City:

    Large 70 km/H

    Medium 50 km/H

    Small 30 km/H

    Country add 30 km/H

    and if its the old road types minus 10 km/H

    For mee to have a profitable train rout i have to send resources to atleast 3 other cities which all are fairly large, So i do agree.

    @Decrayer Yea and when bus lines gets more efficient and people starts to actually use them more frequent those large distance trains will prove more useful.

    Also if people could plan a route between several lines it could help alot too 😉

    @Decrayer you should only be doing TGV between cities spaced far apart in a flat and straight terrain, but atm you cant really use the long TGV because of the traffic problems.

    Never the less i used the trainset that drives at 200 km/h which i find being far more useful than those TGV’s As they have a much less running cost and is fairly nice in terms of passengers it can carry since most people who use your trains atm are those very near to your train station.

    Never the less i am planning to be spending a few 100 millions (600m bank ($_$) ) to see if i can alter a city to become far more useful than it is right now by making it more squary so i can run buses far more efficiently.
