+1. For owning the buses!
Also – excellent suggestions – all of them.
An addition also to mouse wheel scrolling: it often ignores the first scroll event in a window, or when you change from one direction to another. Can be frustrating on long windows. Respond to the first scroll event also.
mgParticipantHey – I love that idea of a hub. Going to try that too. Nice!
mgParticipantI suspect they would need to improve the performance a bit before they provided a much larger map. Otherwise it would just create difficulties and bad feedback, and that’s just not good for a game.
Once you start to have quite a number of vehicles, even my Core i7 with 32GB stutters.. However, I too would love to play bigger maps, so devs – could you have a look at the performance a bit? 🙂
Glad you’re loving the game SkyRat. Me too!
mgParticipantThis is fantastic! LOVE the bridges. 🙂
Doesn’t it also show how the residential buildings next to the train station grow SO much quicker than those further away. Compare the big towers to the little old cottages just on other side of the track!
Thanks for showing this!
mgParticipantOne extra starting condition: “Mountainous” – with more hills. Even the Hilly setting is too flat. Think Switzerland!
mgParticipant+1 Snapping is a big aggressive.
Would be nice to be able to hold down ‘Ctrl’ or ‘Alt’ and disable it during a particular placement.

mgParticipantAgreed that better line management is still required.
But – excellent post Emeg. Switch management can solve many difficulties, and your post reminded me how important it was to use them!
mgParticipant@nicker:
>> “It would also be cool if the line window showed the vehicles with some indication of their current loadout. That way, you could quickly see if more buses or trucks need to be added to a line.”
nicker, one way you can do this is to check the Vehicles window, and order (group) by line name. You can quickly see if all vehicles on each line are at max.
mgParticipantFantastic guides – thanks douglas.
Goods, deliveries and road connections were a bit of a mystery for the first few days until I read your guide!
Please keep it up – it’s really valuable stuff.
mgParticipanthaha! great stuff 🙂
