    I am with doug, but for what is the function in the game play video?

    Thats fact and no idea by myself.

    : If you like trains and schedules you have to play ZUSI.

    I think after bulding a network, you have enough to do (new factorys, new tracks, repair network, new vehicles, etc.)

    if you look at the game play video 5:19 for example:

    there you can see manage route and: Schedule 4 min. cycle. So i think it is or?

    And for repair it goes back to depot?

    After repair the train/bus drives to the first stop or to the last stop bevor the depot?

    Whats happend with the passenger or have a stop in the depot no negative effect?

    So i dont know for 100%, but i think that should work.  Maybe with a way-point.

    But you need a switch point by A, right? Than can the train change the track

    and drive out.

    If there are several possibilities from A to B, passengers will use them according to a measure incorporating  journey time, interval, fare, number of changes etc.

    Or from B to D 🙂

    I hope they will not only earn the most money 🙂 They have played the same games as we (Transport Tycoon, etc.) and knows what´s important. I am very confident that they make a good game and listen to the community. If you have a good game, success and earn money comes automatically for the developer.

    ein paar schöne Ideen sind dabei. Du scheinst dich ja gut in dem Thema auszukennen.

    Ich bin ja da eher so der Quereinsteiger und kenne mich nicht mit allen so aus, wie zum Beispiel Weichenradien, Sicherung am Bahnübergang etc.

    Viele deine Vorschläge werden wohl beim Zugsimulator Zusi berücksichtigt…nur bis das mal fertig ist 🙂 Aber grad weil es eine Simulation sein soll mit vielen Faktoren, dauert es wohl so lange.

    Wie auch immer finde ich, dass es irgendwie ein Kompromiss sein sollte aus Realität und Spielbarkeit.

    Je mehr automatisch (Gleise, Oberleitung, Bahnübergang, etc.) erstellt wird, desto besser für mich. Das sollte natürlich schon halbwegs realistisch sein. So kann man sich dann auf die wesentliche Aufgabe im Spiel konzentrieren: Personen und Waren von A nach B und C bringen. Aber ich denke die Entwickler werden da einen goldenen Weg finden und alle zu 95% glücklich machen.
