    Our world is limited and this influences the size of some buildings. The depots aren’t that important for gameplay, as they are mainly used to buy trains. Usually, there aren’t many trains in the depot (as they don’t make any profit there), so a railyard would use up a lot of space without a real benefit. In contrast, the train stations are used very frequently, so their size is more realistic.

    I’ve already seen that reddit is very popular to a lot of people. I thought that http://www.reddit.com/r/TrainFever already exists and a few people are talking about Train Fever in other subreddits. But I have to say that I’m not familiar with reddit, any help from our fans is appreciated. Sometimes I’ll check the subreddit to answer questions if there are any.

    We’ve told many times that our goal is to support modding shortly after the release. This gives us some time to think about “modding” platforms. A good solution would be to integrate the steam workshop, other possibilities are also contemplated.

    Train Fever does have surround sound. We’re working with a musician/sound-artist to get the sound and music done right.

    Well, currently they’re working with Softimage and 3DsMax. But basically it’s an .obj and .dae import. This should work with the most 3D tools.

    No. It may be possible to play it on the steam machine, but we’re not aiming for it. It should work, because of the Linux version, but we can’t test it yet.

    Hello, 

    We’re going to post an update about the signals when we’ve implemented them and have them functional. The signalling is a complex workflow and we’re testing some solutions to find an easy and general way to place them. We can’t tell the functionality yet, because it might change. 

    Basically we’re working with path and block signals.

    We know that this is a wanted feature. Due to the large amount of resources needed for the integration of an AI we’re not releasing Train Fever with AI opponents. It’s planned to work on AI opponents after a successful release.

    Well, it’s 16km x 16km.

    You’re able to built a few big tracks on such a landscape.

    Some points are already discussed in other threads, so i’m  giving you a short answer:

    1. We’ve got Highspeed trains.

    2. No Monorails at the release.

    3. No H-Bahn at the release.

    4. No underground train stations / Metros at the release.

    A lot of the features are planned for DLC’s or Train Fever 2. We haven’t got the resources to implement them in Train Fever at the level we’re expecting it to be.

    We’re trying to sell the game broad as possible, but the Chinese market is not yet targeted.

    About your second question:

    We haven’t thought about this yet, it could be easily integrated but is not our focus. If we have some free time we could add this feature.
