    If you do not want bridges, delete that section of track.  Lay your road, then redo the track.

    Yes, you need to have a spot for the goods to go.  For instance,  City A needs 37 goods, City B needs 17.  So that would be 54 goods that can be sent out.    As long as you can send the goods, the industry will keep expanding.

    Always keep an eye on the cities you are delivering too.  As they expand, they call for more goods.   Make sure you keep an eye on this.

    Each road has a speed limit.  So, use your best judgement as to which ones to upgrade.   I have no proof it effects your population growth.

    Just deleting roads to resources and factories is not enough for me.  I also have to make a new longer broken path, roads seem to grow back.    But if you make a long broken path, it works.   That is one of the 1st things I do, rearrange the roads to my liking.

    If it was not an intended mech, it would not be in the game!!  🙂       I delete almost every road in the game at some point.  The AI does not do even a decent job of making nice looking road layouts.   The look of the road layout is very important to me.

    Ok, so, if you disconnect a road, it will at some point reconnect .  At least so far in my games that is the case.   So what you do is, figure out what buildings you plan to use for the whole game.    Look over map, see where industries can make  their own connection.

    Break those chains, make new dirt roads that cannot complete the chain.  When there is no comp for goods, you need to over power that station with delivery methods.  Weather it be truck or train, you want more spots then goods.  This will force the game to deliver all the goods to your depot.   When your industries expand, add more delivery methods.

    Just be aware, destroying a building in a city is not cheap.  The bigger the building, the bigger the cost.

    That is a nice looking road layout to mate!!!   Damn you!!  Now I have to restart again to try and have mine look as good!!    🙂

    Your city does not remove the decommissioned tracks?     Seems to me you need to jump on your City Council!!

    When you say 2 lines..   Do you mean 2 lines coming right off the platform?   If that is the case, it will not work.   You have to make an extra line off each of those lines and use Switches.

    Just an FYI, not sure if you all noticed this.    If you supply say just to 2 cities, your others start to lose people.  Quite frustrating.   This has caused several games for me to go from making decent dosh, to losing dosh.

    So, you are saying, you placed a 2 track station with 1 train per track to get that kind of dosh?   I am assuming the setup was easy, no signals?

    They are called Clouds, not smog!!    Smog will not be invented until after 1850.
