You can use CTRL+LMB drag to rotate.
olahaldorParticipantI have a 240GB SSD for Windows (including documents, temp downloads etc) and it’s filling up. So I see the concern.
I have a second 240GB SSD for Steam and games alone. Loading times are blazing fast compared to what I would get on regular HDDs.
I don’t know about the prices where you live, but two smaller SSDs are usually cheaper than one huge SSD.
olahaldorParticipantI’d recommend something like 240GB SSD for your system drive. Install games and store big files on anything but that SSD.
olahaldorParticipantYou’ll have to wait for the mod makers to adapt and update.
The Train Fever Mod Manager (from train-fever.net) have been updated so transportation mods (like locos, multiple units, trams etc) will be adapted to the new way mod handling in Train Fever, but it doesn’t make the mods themselves.
Install on your own risk. Let the mod makers get some time to update their work.
I personally haven’t tried the updated mod manager from TF.net, but all I know from reading their forum is that the app will create the needed info.lua file. Whether it populates data and so on, I have no idea.
olahaldorParticipantI don’t know. You’d probably get a better answer on that on train-fever.net
But by the looks of it, he’s either working on, or have already published a new version which adapts the new way mods are installed.

olahaldorParticipantI politely asked for the info. There will be more info to come. Don’t know when.
olahaldorParticipantThe number of the folder reflects the major version number of the mod. So in my case, that is 1. While in the ingo lua file there’s a “minor version” line, where I put “61” to reflect that it is v1.6.1 🙂
The version number is reflected in the mod list in the menus.
olahaldorParticipantI got some info and got it working. Go to Train-fever.net and download my NSB Stadler Flirt v1.6.1. It’s working with the new version of the game. You’ll see how it’s done there.Â

olahaldorParticipantYou need to go to the DLC page for the game on Steam. Click Install.
olahaldorParticipantDo you know how to make 3D models and textures?
If yes: there’s guidelines on how to orient and convert the model for the game engine. It’s dated, but it covers my own experience just after the game was released in September 2014. It covers mostly the basics of what you need to know.
olahaldorParticipantFantastic effort! You’re pumping out mods like a madman. Downloading them all. They deserve attention! 🙂
olahaldorParticipant- Seed:Â Idefagskolen (capital i)
- World Size: Small – Medium – Large – works with any
- Terrain type:Â Medium
- Rating:Â 10/10
- Description:Â Idefagskolen is the name of the school I attend this year for my 3D design and animation studies. I wanted a new map to test things on, and figured “why not”. Turns out the seed is rather awesome in my opinion.
There’s a river splitting the map in half, and it takes a turn in one end. Many cities lay just next to the river. Some mountains and hills. Cities and industry scattered. Lovely map.

February 6, 2015 at 12:25 in reply to: Is it possible to change time untill what year you can buy a train? #16738olahaldorParticipantYes. You’ll need to go into the game installation folder/res/models/model/vehicle/train/ folder and find the .mdl file for the mod.
In the .mdl file you’ll find something like this
availability = {
yearFrom = 1915,
yearTo = 0
},
Change the “yearTo” to something more realistic or to your needs.
