    thanx for your reply

about q2 …  main city A is in the center … if I connect C and D directly i get a faster and shorter way than using middle station in city A … is there any way to calculate traveling time? .. because there is no way of knowing how much time-profit passengers would have with a direct line… i don’t know neither if a passengers vrom C goes to D or all passengers from C and D go only to A …

i’d like to have some more info about game mechanics…

replacing old vehicles doesn’t bother me.. for train I simply first buy  a new one and put it on same line and after that recall old train to depot …

for buses and trams ..   usually all buses on same line have same age … so first I buy exact number of new buses … recall entire line to depot  and set same line to new vehicles …

doesn’t take to much work…  but i’m a casual player who enjoy the life in game .. (play on easy)

building bridges is frustrating … I had a lot of troubles building bridges over tracks ..  then I found that the easiest way is to raise the terain on both sides of the track .. buid a small bridge over the gap .. and then another two on both sides  to connect tracks on base level.

If I understood correctly .. you have each line connecting to only one city and each tracks has 2 trains? .. so 8 trains in total for this case ?

hm… I need to  try that .. I always try to connect more than 1 city per line in a row ..

Can you put a screenshot of that city with visible lines please ? .. i didn’t figure it out yet how to place stations and lines in a city for optimal results…

    thanx ..

    about point 3

    A ——–x————— B
    …………\
    …………..\_______C

    —- = main line

    ___ = side line

\ =  line connecting both lines

    …. = just spacer .. ignore it

Two trains going … first from B to A and second from C to A ..

Train on main line (B -> A) will reserve track B-A or B -x ? … so if the train on line C-A comes to junction first .. will go and reserve the track from x-A or has to wait the mainline train to reach A ?

    I hope  was clear enought

I have some questions about it…

    1. Signals must be always placed on the right side of the track … right ? ..

    2. if is on the left, then is meant for opposite direction right ?

    3.  if you have a line which merge into another … do we need a signal before the junction ? …

When you place bus station put it on both side of the road. Those two stations will automatically merge and count as one. I had a lot of route problems with stations only on  one side.

I have some questions about this topic….

    I have railroad connecting points  F1 (forest) –> F2 (forest) –> S (sawmill) –> C (city)

On those tracks I have two lines:

    – wood from F1 to S and then goods from S to C and back to starting point

    – Same line … just start point is from F2

    My questions related to frequency:

    1. If i have “wait for full load” .. what time is taken into calculation ? .. for each individual wood unit or entire train cargo ?  Line is used if the total time doesn’t take more than 20min.. so for the first unit of wood is calculated waiting time until train is full ?

    2. Is better to have two lines like I do.. or is better to transport wood from F1 to F2 and from there to S ?

    3. I use same trains for transporting goods to city … is ok like that or is better to use another train just for goods because frequency is bigger because of city stop station?

    thanx..

I was skeptical at first if is worth or not and sometimes I feel that the game should be in steam early access and not as finished product..

But anyway .. game is worth buying, because is fun and nice .. and all issues I encountered are not a big deal .. and i’m sure that will be fixed in future patch.

If you like the genre then is a must have game….

Shouldn’t be to difficult to set 30% – 50% – 70% longer years  and in the same time 30% – 50% – 70% lower income … so in this way no matter of time settings end year income will be the same.
